PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
2mm rubber underlay is made exclusively for floorsave, with a high density, natural rubber and has an integrated backing fleece as well as an aluminium foil vapour barrier. it has excellent heavy mass stability and provides high impact sound insulation whilst also reducing airborne noise.
Using a dense rubber constrction,the rubber underlay not only helps to combat the sound of footfall(impact noise) but also airborne sound,helping to make homes and commercial spacesquieter and comfortable.One of the most important benefits is a reduction in impact sound. Footfall on a hard floor can be both loud and sharp, and the right underlay will make a big difference in reducing and mellowing the sound. In this case, the right underlay means using sponge rubber because low cost underlays such as PE foams have so much air in them they act like echo chambers and amplify the sound.
